These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, online forms, content, communications, and related services made available by Chore Kings LLC (“Chore Kings,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing our website, submitting a quote request, communicating with us, scheduling services, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or services.
Chore Kings provides junk removal, cleanouts, light labor, light handyman services, and related residential or commercial assistance services.
Our services may include, but are not limited to, removal of unwanted items, household cleanouts, garage/basement/attic cleanouts, furniture removal, light lifting, light assembly, small repairs, basic property assistance, and other similar tasks requested by customers and accepted by Chore Kings.
We reserve the right to refuse any requested service in our sole discretion, including any job that we believe is unsafe, outside our capabilities, outside the scope of light labor or light handyman work, prohibited by law, requires a specialized license, or is otherwise not appropriate for Chore Kings to perform.
Customers may submit quote requests through our website or by contacting us directly. Submitting a quote request does not create a binding appointment, guarantee availability, or obligate Chore Kings to perform any work.
Appointments are scheduled by phone, text, email, or other direct communication with a Chore Kings representative. A job is not confirmed until Chore Kings has accepted the appointment and any required deposit has been paid.
Any quote or estimate provided by Chore Kings is based on the information available at the time the quote or estimate is given. Quotes and estimates are intended to be close approximations, but they are not final or guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing by Chore Kings.
Final pricing may change based on the actual conditions of the job, including but not limited to:
If the scope of work changes, Chore Kings may revise the price before continuing the job. If the customer does not approve the revised price, Chore Kings may decline to perform some or all of the requested work.
Chore Kings may require a deposit to reserve a job date, crew, or time slot. Deposits help hold the scheduled appointment and may be non-refundable if the customer cancels, reschedules late, is not available at the scheduled time, or otherwise prevents Chore Kings from performing the work.
Deposit terms may vary by job and will be communicated during scheduling. Unless otherwise stated in writing, any deposit paid will be applied toward the final invoice for the job.
Payment is due after completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. Chore Kings may send an invoice and payment link by email, text message, or other electronic method.
Customers agree to pay all amounts owed for services performed, including any approved changes in scope, additional labor, disposal fees, materials, supplies, or other job-related charges.
Chore Kings reserves the right to charge late fees, collection costs, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and other costs permitted by law for unpaid balances.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the requested work, the property, the items involved, and any known risks or limitations.
Before Chore Kings arrives, the customer should disclose any relevant information, including but not limited to:
The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permission from property owners, landlords, tenants, building management, condominium associations, HOAs, or other responsible parties before Chore Kings performs work.
The customer represents that they have the legal right to authorize Chore Kings to remove, move, handle, alter, repair, dispose of, donate, or otherwise work on any property or items involved in the requested services.
Chore Kings does not handle, transport, remove, or dispose of hazardous, illegal, unsafe, or restricted materials.
Prohibited items and services may include, but are not limited to:
If prohibited materials are discovered during a job, Chore Kings may stop work immediately, refuse removal, revise the scope and price, or cancel the job. The customer remains responsible for any work already performed, time incurred, costs incurred, and any resulting fees.
Chore Kings provides light handyman and light labor services only. We are not a licensed general contractor, electrician, plumber, HVAC contractor, roofer, structural engineer, pest control company, environmental remediation company, or hazardous materials removal company.
Customers should hire properly licensed professionals for work that requires a license, permit, inspection, specialized certification, or professional engineering judgment.
Chore Kings does not guarantee that any light repair, assembly, installation, adjustment, or similar service will be suitable for every purpose, condition, building code requirement, manufacturer requirement, or long-term use unless expressly stated in writing.
Chore Kings will use reasonable care while performing services. However, junk removal, cleanouts, moving heavy items, light labor, and handyman work involve inherent risks.
The customer acknowledges that damage may occur despite reasonable care, especially when moving large, heavy, awkward, fragile, old, deteriorated, improperly assembled, improperly installed, or previously damaged items.
Chore Kings is not responsible for:
Customers are responsible for identifying and protecting fragile, valuable, sentimental, irreplaceable, or high-value items before work begins. Chore Kings may refuse to handle certain items or may require additional written approval before doing so.
If the customer instructs Chore Kings to remove, move, dispose of, donate, disassemble, alter, repair, or otherwise handle an item, Chore Kings may rely on that instruction.
The customer is responsible for confirming that all items designated for removal, disposal, donation, or handling are correctly identified. Chore Kings is not responsible for items removed or handled at the customer’s direction.
Chore Kings may take photos or videos before, during, or after a job for documentation, quality control, training, dispute resolution, insurance, marketing, or operational purposes.
We will use reasonable efforts not to include private, sensitive, or personally identifying information in marketing materials without permission. Customers may request that Chore Kings not use job photos or videos for marketing purposes by contacting us.
By providing your phone number, email address, or other contact information, you consent to receive communications from Chore Kings regarding quote requests, scheduling, appointment confirmations, arrival windows, job updates, invoices, payment links, follow-up messages, customer service, and related business purposes.
If you prefer text messaging, Chore Kings may communicate with you by text message. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying “STOP” where applicable, but we may still send non-marketing messages related to scheduled or completed services, invoices, payment, safety, or customer service where permitted by law.
